A day of craziness is what I will call today!  It started by Aaron telling me he was going to fix our toilet (it needed a new wax ring) but then I said "you should probably check on this tub too cause it has been leaving a small puddle of water on the basement floor."  BIG MISTAKE!!!!  He went downstairs to the basement and sure enough there lay the puddle.  He comes back upstairs and gets to the access panel and everything inside the wall is WET and DAMP! :(  He just pushed on the wall with little force and the tile just fell out on the other side.  Black mold was everywhere!!

Our whole bathroom is under construction now and we are in a motel...Motel  6 to be exact. It's all updated and modern and looks great but not cozy at all!  I love cozy and homey.  Also, there is no carpet!!!!  Which I guess is easier to clean but makes it so much "louder" in here.  Oh yeah and it's ORANGE! It was a really nice surprise cause whenever I see orange it makes me think of my dad...it was his favorite color.  There is an accent wall that is orange all the rest are white, there is an orange curtain, and orange on the bedspreads.  But even though the color is nice I just can't wait to be home ya know our home 5 minutes down the road.  haha Not sure how long it's gonna take to complete the bathroom...should know more tomorrow.  I really hope it is all done by the time we leave on Thursday cause I really really don't want to come back home to a messy house on Sunday.
Okay so I'm done complaining...cause I know I am very blessed and very grateful for all I do have....it definitely could be worse.  So I'll be thankful it's not! ;)

On to happier things...I went to Michael's today to get a big Christmas scrapbook book that I have been wanting and had a 40% off coupon to use on it and guess what???  I ended up getting 2 books for pretty much the price of one cause they were already on sale.  Yay for that!! :)  Then tonite Aaron, Skylee, & I ate out at a Chinese restaurant right in front of our motel and ran into a friend from church.  Well when we were close to getting done the waitress came over with fortune cookies and told us our friend had taken care of our bill.  Needless to say we were shocked!  Sneaky, sneaky he was! ;)  Such a sweet, nice thing he did.  I hope that one day soon I can do that for someone! Pay it forward. It made my day!  Not that he paid for our meal per say, but that he did something kind, something that made us know he cares.  :)  A crazy day turned into a good day.  :)
